The HollywoodReporter says that this Christmas special was viewed as the highest over any other shown last night. It might be that I am a sucker for Christmas entertainment but, I was fortunate enough to watch it myself and thought that it was spectacular. It had a great Christmas story with the Shrek comedy that we all loved from the first of the movie series. I thought that Shrek was going to die with the 'Third' installment, but this was the Christmas miracle that got these characters back on the nice list.

Shrek the Nerd...
Shrek 3 was everything that it was expected, horrible. It’s hard to come up with something truly positive to say about Shrek The Third, but there is one moment that’s almost worth the price of admission. Gingi and his wonderful flash backs.... however, it is just the one moment, and however rollicking that (singular) big guffaw is, it’s not going to be quite enough to put off asking, simply, “what went wrong?” The story must have flown out the window knocking over funny jokes that they didn't already do in the previous movies. Not to mention the fact that they casted new, awe full, characters to get people to see the movie. Justin Timberlake as the young king that came from an island of the teenagers....Yeeaahh. when the amazing animation team at Dreamworks came up with that idea they should have stopped, looked at each other and laughed a big laugh at this idiotic idea. Then when they were done laughing, that is when they should have started to think of a better idea for a movie.

REDACTED
I found this news article today stating that at Target they are selling Ratatouille with a bonus disk. Yesterday I had posted some very not true statements about the awesome Pixar Disney people and I want to make it up to them. It just goes to show you that I shouldn't stick my big foot in my big mouth. Sorry guys.

Pixar, no second DVD???
How does Pixar go from the best, longest, in depth dvd's anyone has ever seen, to one disk with not even a commentary on it? As a person who doesn't watch many other movie extras, I made sure that I watched these ones repeatedly. Pixar has a greatness about their movies and they have opened their whole process up with every release except for the last two (Cars, Ratatouille). I had read something saying that it was due to Disney doing a study on parents and their kids where they asked the parents what they thought about the second disk with the special features. The (lazy) parents told them that they didn't want their kids to bother them after they accidentally put in the wrong dvd for their kids to watch. So there it is, here and gone, just as fast, corporate Disney at it's best.
P.S. Make sure you get the special 2 disk edition of Jungle Book ;)

GRAPHIC DESIGN IN A HURRY

I learned much about graphic design and how to make sure a design will even fit onto a wine cork. This is one of the designs that I had done in Illustrator from scratch and is going to be printed this week. This is a pretty relaxing job for the most part and lets my creative juices flowing. Everyone here is real nice and for the most part gets along with everyone else. I hope to keep getting challenges like this so that I can expand my portfolio and my experience. Thanks for coming, I'll talk to you soon.
